This Is A Modern Dodge Hellcat That Has Been Restyled To Look Like A 1969 Charger

For those times when a new Dodge Challenger just doesn't have the right amount of retro appeal, you can always have a classic muscle car body attached to it. The legendary DJ Funkmaster Flex convinced Valanca Auto Concepts in New York City to do just that, and the business built a new Challenger Hellcat with bodywork inspired by a 1969 Charger.

So it's all modern Hellcat behind the retro Charger shell, which includes a lot of unique carbon-fiber components. Although the track has been enlarged by 4 inches and the roofline has been reduced by 2 inches, this is certainly a different vehicle on the interior.

It has been equipped with Boze alloy wheels and improved Baer brakes with six-piston calipers at all four corners to finish the Pro-Touring appearance, as well as a Magnaflow exhaust. This Dodge Charger is now on display at the Magnaflow booth at SEMA. The headrests on the front seats were removed for a throwback low-back bucket design, and the inside was refurbished by New York business Gillin Auto Interiors.
