This Dude Is Developing A 996-Based Modern Porsche 911 Slantnose

One hobbyist is currently developing a Slantnose kit for Porsche  911 Slantnose. Even though Crucible Coachworks in Pennsylvania is still working on this specific Porsche, the owner of the business has published a few videos on YouTube that illustrate exactly how much effort goes into it.

Hand-cut and hand-rolled lightweight sheet metal are being used for all of the car's new body panels, and drawings of the finished product show exactly how extreme the changes will be.

All-new front quarter panels have been developed for the Porsche Slantnose, which flow smoothly alongside the regular hood and give the sports vehicle that classic appearance. Crucible Coachworks, on the other hand, is hand-forming completely different side skirts for the car, as well as expanded rear wheel arches.

Porsche's regular headlights have been deleted, and instead of pop-up headlights like the original Slantnose versions, slim LED lamps will be installed between the quarter panels and front bumper. The rear has a distinctive bumper and diffuser kit that will influence the car's aerodynamics. The taillights also will be modified, and the Porsche 996 will have profound wheels and a reduced suspension setup.
