The Suzuki Jimny Has Metamorphosed Into Something Resembling A Mini Jeep Cherokee XJ

The Suzuki Jimny is well known for its boxy design and off-road capabilities, which make it a perfect platform for customizations. Recently, a tuning company called Marvelous released a new bodykit for the Jimny that transforms the appearance of the vehicle to resemble a Jeep Cherokee XJ, and the resulting vehicle looks fantastic and is sure to turn heads.

The most noticeable aspect of the Marvelous bodykit for the Suzuki Jimny is the new front end, which features a six-slot grille, square headlights, and separate indicators. Additionally, the kit includes new front and rear bumpers with an unpainted plastic finish, and customers can choose to add body-colored wide fender extensions for a more dramatic look.

Alternatively, those who prefer a more subtle appearance can opt for the narrow version without the wide fenders. The kit also comes with a suspension lift that raises the ground clearance by 1.5 inches for the narrow version or 3 inches for the wide version. This lift kit enhances the Jimny's off-road capabilities and is paired with aftermarket alloy wheels and Yokohama Mud/Terrain tires for improved grip.

It's worth noting that there are no changes to the engine specifications with the Marvelous bodykit. The Suzuki Jimny will continue to come equipped with either a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 101 hp (JDM-spec Sierra) or a turbocharged 658cc three-cylinder engine that produces 63 hp in the entry-level model.

For those interested in purchasing the Marvelous bodykit, the company is already accepting orders. If customers prefer to buy the parts individually, they can expect to pay ¥179,600 ($1,364) for the grille and headlights, ¥67,700 ($514) for the front bumper, ¥69,600 ($529) for the rear bumper, and ¥103,600 ($787) for the wide fenders. Alternatively, customers can opt for a complete car with all the modifications, which includes the body kit, wheels, tires, and suspension lift. The narrow version of the complete Suzuki Jimny is priced at ¥2.33 million ($17,693), while the wide version, which offers a higher ground clearance, is priced at ¥2.69 million ($20,426).
