The Old But Gold E46 M3 Reborn as the Extremely Rare CSL

Aftermarket company Vorsteiner has announced the revival of its V-CSL carbon fiber program for the BMW M3 E46, starting with four cosmetic products.

In honor of the 20th anniversary, we are reviving this legendary program in a limited run of 103 units, as a tribute to the impressive horsepower delivered by the BMW E46 CSL.

CSL

In case you haven't grasped the concept, these upcoming features are designed for the standard E46 M3, which will later evolve into the expensive and extremely rare CSL variant.

CSL

Starting at the front, owners will benefit from a complete bumper featuring that iconic single intake hole and carbon fiber splitters. Priced at 2,500 USD, this is the most expensive component in the catalog. For just 1,500 USD, you can own the CSL’s distinct ducktail trunk.

CSL

Two decades on, this trunk still looks impressive. While the modern M4 CSL tries to keep up, it's hard to deny that BMW's early 2000s era represented a peak in modern design.

CSL

If you have a trunk, you're in luck—the much-needed rear diffuser insert is more affordable at 1,495 USD.

CSL

The interior welcomes a center console made from the same 1:1 weave used in other Vorsteiner components, available for 995 USD (price includes a metal plaque).

CSL

Vorsteiner’s attention to detail is evident, as seen in the added closeout mirror switch cover for the door card.

CSL

Given Vorsteiner founder Peter Nam's reputation—he also founded Gunther Werks known for its immaculate quality—we shouldn't be surprised by the precision. We're excited to see what GW will do with an E30 M3 in the near future.
