Manhart MH2 GTR II Unveiled And Ready To Dominate The Track

For those who want more, Manhart always has more to offer, and the brand-new MH2 GTR II does not let them down. The German tuner gives the M2 a layer of outrageously good magenta paint contrasted with champagne-colored Manhart decals.

A new carbon-based front spoiler, grille, hood trim, rear wing, and diffuser are among the aesthetic changes. An enormous fixed rear wing and an Alpha-N diffuser are also included. Additionally, the tuner added new side skirts and wheels that match the body decals in color: Raffa Wheels RFS-02 Forged Series rims measure 20 by 10.5 inches up front and 21 by 11.5 inches at the rear.

A Manhart Variant 4 coilover suspension system by KW, which tucks those wheels deep into the arches, should help the vehicle handle better on the track, where the minimalist interior should feel just as at home. Manhart removed the back seats and installed Schroth harnesses along with another champagne-colored roll bar. The 3.0-liter S58 six engine in the M2 produces 453 horsepower out of the factory, whereas Manhart's MH2 560 produces 552 horsepower, or 560 metric ponies, as the name implies.

However, the Manhart MH2 GTR III's 705 horsepower and 627 lb-ft make both seem to be three-cylinder city vehicles. Surprisingly, Manhart claims that reprogramming the ECU and adding a carbon intake and performance exhaust were all that were necessary to get those results. Customers wishing to sample this kit for their own M2 have a selection of exhausts to choose from, including four matte black 100 mm (3.9 inch) tailpipes, sports downpipes, HJS cats, and a stainless steel system with valve control.

This Manhart MH2 GTR II version is entirely legal and TÜV-certified. A DPF deletion kit and a pair of racing downpipes without cats are more extreme options for those who don't care about clean air regulations.
