The $158K Curated by Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing You Can Build Your Way

The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing isn’t exactly a wallflower in the super-sedan world, but now it’s about to get even more outrageous thanks to the new “Curated by Cadillac” program.
Cadillac says this is about setting “a new standard in personalized luxury,” which basically means you get your own design-savvy concierge to spec your car from the ground up. Specifically, the usual nine exterior shades balloon to more than 160, and each one is hand-applied at the brand’s Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan.

The inside is just as over-the-top. You can mix and match colors, leathers, stitching, piping, and trim in literally millions of combinations. Want something no other Blackwing owner has? Easy. The show car proves the point with black and red leather seats, white contrast stitching, red piping, and a unique V-pattern stitched into the backrests.

Under that tailored skin, the Curated by Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is still a full-on performance weapon. The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 pumps out 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque, good enough to embarrass plenty of sports cars while you sit back in your custom leather throne.

The Curated by Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing debuts at Monterey Car Week with prices starting around $158,000. That’s about $56,000 more than the standard car, but for deep-pocketed enthusiasts, it’s a ticket to owning one of the most exclusive Cadillacs ever built, one that’s truly yours.
