Thanks To Heico Sportiv, The 2022 Volvo XC60 Is Now More Agile

Heico Sportiv, a German tuner, now offers a comprehensive set of cosmetic alterations for the recently facelifted Volvo XC60. The tuner located in Weiterstadt focuses on Volvo and Polestar cars, with bodykits available for every model in the automaker's current and previous range. Heico Sportiv designed add-ons for the 2022 Volvo XC60 that closely matched Volvo's own styling cues.

There are five-part upgrades on the bumper intakes, flaps, and splitter, as well as a Heico symbol on the grille, at the front. Front and rear fender extensions, as well as a revised rear skirt that houses the quad exhaust pipes, complete the package. When the user is in the mood for vigorous driving, the active sports exhaust system with flap control may be coupled with the Heico Sportiv Selected Sound system for a more ferocious sound.

All of the changes adhere to the most recent pedestrian safety standards. Inside, there's a beautiful sports steering wheel, aluminum pedals, velour floor mats, and Heico logos for the start button, 3D-printed driving mode selection, and climate vents. The pre-facelift XC60 cars had similar choices, excluding the front bumper. The dramatic look is completed by Volution's 21-inch or 22-inch alloy wheels, which are wrapped in bigger performance tires and conceal a set of improved brakes.

The tuner is selling 15mm (0.6 inches) spacers and a unique electrical module that drops the stock adaptive air suspension by 30 mm (1.2 inches) when in motion and by another 10-40 mm (0.4-1.6 inches) when parked.

Furthermore, the e.Motion power update software boosts the standard 2.0-liter turbodiesel's performance from 188 hp (140 kW / 190 PS) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) to 217 hp (162 kW / 220 PS) and 480 Nm (295 lb-ft) (354 lb-ft). The extra power is visible in the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph), which now needs 9.4 secs, 1 second quicker than stock, and the acceleration from 80 to 160 km/h (50-99 mph), which now requires 17.7 seconds, a 3.5-second gain.

Additionally, every Volvo XC60 model may profit from the extra Vmax increase option, which raises the speed limits from 180 km/h (112 mph) to 230 km/h (143 mph). A high-performance intercooler, a sports air filter, and speed pedal tuning are among the other possibilities.

The flagship XC60 T8 with the plug-in hybrid system, which produces a total of 455 hp (339 kW / 461 PS) and 709 Nm (523 lb-ft) of torque right out of the box, is, of course, the most appropriate engine choice for this bodykit.

Volvo XC60

The bodykit for Volvo XC60 will set you back €3,399 ($3,833), or up to €6,592 ($7,435) if the exhaust system is included, adding €801 ($904) for the wheels. You'll need to spend a lot more money on the mechanical parts: €2,282 ($2,573) for the motor software tune, €1,850 ($2,087) for the Vmax increase, €1,519 ($1,713) for the intercooler, €1,979 ($2,231) for the reduced air suspension module, €5,988 ($6,754) for the revised braking system and €6,592 ($7,435) for the exhaust.
