Tesla Model Y Gets A Novitec Makeover

After upgrading the Model 3, S, and X, Novitec has finally released a tuning kit for the Model Y. A carbon fiber bodykit, a new set of 22-inch wheels, and a lowered suspension are just some of the upgrades.

The aesthetic changes from Novitec do make it seem more stealthy and athletic. A large front splitter, longer side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a built-in rear spoiler are the most noticeable of these features. Tuner claims that these components improve aerodynamics and reduce lift at high speeds.

The high-gloss sealer finish and bare carbon fiber appearance of the displayed bodykit are particularly desirable, but the tuner may also paint the parts to match the car's exterior or according to the customer’s preferences. Designed in tandem with Vossen, the enormous 22-inch Novitec NV 2 forged wheels are another standout feature.

Because of the asymmetrical shape, each wheel is distinct and made with brake cooling in mind. 72 distinct colors, a polished or brushed finish, and mixed performance tyres (255/30 ZR 22 up front and 285/30 ZR 22 out back) are available. The height-adjustable KW coilover suspension is a nice touch that brings the Model Y 1.6 inches lower to the ground and gives it a more athletic stance. Performance enhancements are not available from Novitec.
