The facelifted Phantom is currently being tested by Rolls-Royce. Meanwhile, Goodwood's Bespoke department unveils a new, unique Phantom based on the existing model. Rolls-Royce Phantom Orchid is the newest member of the collection, created in conjunction with artist Helen Amy Murray for a Singapore customer. The unique variant is based on the Phantom Extended, which has a longer wheelbase.

The creation of this one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce Phantom Orchid took two years, with artist Helen Amy Murray and a crew of six people putting in more than 200 hours. The flowers were hand-sculpted with extra layers of fabric for a 3D look after her initial design was printed on silk crepe satin.

Several types of orchids inspired the award-winning artist and textile designer: "I started by focusing on the actual orchids, which promptly led me to realize that color was key to capturing the essence of the species. I have created artworks featuring orchids in the past, but my idea for the gallery was to create something in realistic full color, which pushed us to refine our digital printing skills."

There's more personalization to come. The seatback tables feature custom tops made of piano black veneer with orchid patterns designed by Rolls-Royce designer Yohan Benchetrit. The LED treadplates and the front fenders of the automobile have a similar design. Grace White, Havan, and Smoke Grey upholstery with Dark Olive stitching cover the rest of the interior. Rolls-Royce Phantom Orchid's exterior paint is made up of Arctic White with a violet hue and small glass particles for a shimmering effect that varies based on the viewing angle and illumination.
