Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge Serves As The Foundation For Three Spofec Overdose Convertibles

Rolls-Royce Dawn is nearing the end of its career, so Spofec developed 3 Overdose Convertibles based on the Black Badge version of the sumptuous four-seater. Spofec decided to release a limited edition of 3 Overdose coupes based on the Wraith Black Badge earlier this year, and they'll now manufacture 3 more Overdose convertibles focused on the Dawn Black Badge.

On the outside, the carbon bodykit is distinguished by unique front and rear fenders that increase the car's width by 13 cm (5.1 inches). These are paired with aggressively styled front and rear bumpers, revised rocker panels with incorporated intakes, and a lip spoiler.

Furthermore, mixed tires measuring 265/35 ZR22 in the front and 265/35 ZR22 at the back are mounted on a set of Vossen 22-inch forged wheels. The N-Tronic module has been used to improve the twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 engine, which now produces 677 hp (505 kW / 686 PS) and 980 Nm (723 lb-ft) of torque.

This is greater than the original Dawn Black Badge's 539 hp (442 kW / 601 PS) and 840 Nm (620 lb-ft), leading to better performance stats.

To protect the tires, the peak speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) because of the car's weight. Spofec says that the Overdose speeds from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 4.6 secs, which is 0.3 secs quicker than the factory-spec vehicle.

A 40 mm (1.6 inches) reduction in the air suspension at speeds up to 140 km/h (87 mph) is among the other tweaks that have been implemented. The inside of Spofec's Overdose convertibles may be tailored to suit the needs of each of the three owners, with a variety of choices available.
