R3 Performance Kit For Mercedes-AMG E63 Wagon From Renntech

Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon has more power than an Audi RS6 Avant, with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 delivering 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, but what if that's not enough? What if you don't just want to defeat the Audi driver, but you also want to embarrass him?

You can go with Brabus and get up to 800 hp, or you might go with Renntech. The R3 Performance package from the Florida-based tuner makes any standard German luxury wagon look pitiful.

Compact forged billet turbo wheels with wider impellers, as well as a boost in turbine trim, are included in this kit (for 2019 models and up). Renntech states that, despite the increased size, there is no difference in turbo lag as a result of this. The wheel cartridges and their shaft are CNC machined and reinforced before being flow tested for quality assurance. Renntech claims that between 5,500 and 7,000 rpm, the power curve increases, allowing you to enjoy revving the engine for longer.

Renntech claims that its turbos spool up faster, have a more quick throttle, have a smaller rotational mass, and lower back pressure, all of which result in rapid output power. The best part is that these are larger turbos that fit in the factory place and use OEM oil and coolant lines.

An ECU update, stainless steel downpipes, upgraded computer powertrain control, blow-off valve adapters, specific air filters, and a custom fueling improvement are included in the kit, in addition to the turbos. All this adds up to 1,017 hp and 873 lb-ft of torque on 100 octane fuel and 965 hp and 817 lb-ft on 93 octane. If you're curious about the price, it'll set you back $29,380 before taxes, but $112,450 after.
