Have a look at this crazy new invention! The M1079 Light Medium Tactical Vehicle (LMTV) was first ordered by the US Army in the 1980s, and now, Oracle Lighting has significantly changed it. This vehicle has been reimagined as an expeditionary powerhouse for the SEMA show, boasting an array of cutting-edge features.

To enhance its functionality and aesthetics, Oracle Lighting equipped the LMTV with a set of 7-inch LED headlights mounted on a custom bumper, illuminated badges, 9-inch LED spotlights on a roof rack, and 5-inch LED light bars.

Additional LED plow headlights ensure this vehicle can light up even in the darkest of environments. In terms of capabilities, the LMTV is now equipped with an 18,000-lb synthetic rope winch, a new diesel fuel system, and six 100 Ah lithium-ion batteries.

The vehicle retains its original military underpinnings, including a robust 6.6-liter Caterpillar turbo-diesel engine mated to an Allison seven-speed electronic transmission.

The addition of a central tire inflation system and formidable 46-inch all-terrain tires ensures this expedition vehicle can conquer the most challenging terrain. Off-grid functionality is a key component of any serious expedition vehicle, and Oracle Lighting addressed this by installing a 1,000-watt solar system.

The vehicle also features a 12-foot power awning, traction boards, a spacious Go Rhino roof rack complete with weather-resistant cargo cases, and a striking Nardo Grey paint finish.

The Oracle Lighting project resembles a high-end nightclub with two luxurious bench seats upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara. This area also boasts new LED lights, a Bluetooth sound system, and custom cabinets for a premium experience.

Justin Hartenstein, Director of Development at Oracle Lighting, emphasized that the LMTV project aligns with their passion for outdoor pursuits and serves as an impressive product showcase and base camp for various events. This vehicle certainly makes a bold statement wherever it goes, and the Oracle Lighting team and product sponsors have played a pivotal role in bringing this unique project to life.
