New Nissan GT-R Coming, Inspired By The R34 Skyline GT-R

Taking design cues from the R34 Skyline GT-R, Artisan Vehicle Design has a daring idea to radically revamp the Nissan GT-R. With bold confidence, the business announces its intention to manufacture 36 units, with each one featuring a groundbreaking carbon fiber body, and release them to the public in 2024.

The complicated process of mass-producing high-quality carbon fiber adds an element of doubt to the project's practicality, and it has been two weeks since the firm released 3D scans of the regular GT-R.

The Track and Ultimate bundles that the firm lists on its website remain a mystery, leaving fans wanting more information. Beginning with the roof, hood, fenders, and bumpers, the entire exterior gets a makeover. With their updated designs, the headlights and taillights provide a touch of nostalgia to the project, paying tribute to the iconic R34 Skyline GT-R.

Behind the B-pillar are the intake scoops, which give it a little more performance. A powerful rear wing and the instantly recognizable Rays TE37 wheels give the GT-R its sporty, aggressive look. The addition of extraction vents behind the B-pillar and the modification of the exhaust system, which does away with the R35's dual-exit structure, raise functional issues, though.

Like a design decision from a less expensive Nissan Z model, the diffuser's single pipe on either side may split opinions. The inside has a race-inspired design with carbon fiber details on the center console, seats, steering wheel, and paddles, as well as the dashboard and instrument cluster. How true is it that this reimagined Nissan GT-R will push the boundaries of automotive design?
