Lexus LC500 and LC500h now have a few additional features thanks to the carmaker's revisions in the Japanese market. Lexus began by focusing on improving the Grand Tourer's ride quality and performance and has since changed the springs, stabilizer bars, and shock absorbers to boost comfort while also improving steering response and controllability.

Those who drive a Lexus with the Dynamic Handling System will notice additional improvements in handling. Lexus has also unveiled a new color for the LC Coupe and Convertible, called Sonic Iridium.

Lexus LC500 Coupe is also offered in Terrane Khaki Mica Metallic, a dark green metallic paint color, as well as new 21-inch forged aluminum wheels in polished or black paint. There is a new Marine Blue folding soft-top available for anyone interested in an LC500 Convertible, which goes wonderfully with the new Blue & White interior. The addition of orange brake calipers completes the redesigned package.

In the middle of 2020, Lexus launched the LC500 Convertible in the United States. Customers in the United States have the option of ordering the top in Black or Sand, but not in the new Marine Blue hue. It has 471-hp at 7,100 rpm and 398 lb-ft (539 Nm) of torque at 4,800 rpm thanks to a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine.

There is a 3.5-liter V6 engine and two electric motors in the Coupe's hybrid powertrain for a combined output of 354-hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) for LC500h trim.
