Ever felt the McLaren GT could use a bit more pizzazz? The brand’s MSO division has got you covered. They've just unveiled a collection of GT models, uniquely customized to pay homage to some of McLaren's legendary hypercars.

The limited-run GTs come in four color variants, each restricted to just two units and featuring exclusive paint and trim not previously seen on production GTs. Kicking off the color choices is Cerulean Blue, a custom MSO Bespoke pearlescent paint originally developed for the P1. McLaren believes this hue emphasizes the GT’s muscular design exceptionally well.

Following Cerulean Blue, you'll find XP Green, a color inspired by McLaren’s F1 prototypes from the early '90s. This paint scheme is actually a nod to the F1 XP GT ‘Longtail’ prototype from 1997.

If you have a penchant for more recent McLaren marvels, the third paint option, Sarigan Quartz, graced Speedtail XP2 during its 250 mph testing at the Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds in Florida.

But perhaps historical hypercars aren’t your thing. In that case, Cyber Yellow might catch your eye. This paint is a modified version of the existing Volcano Yellow, enriched with a pearl coating that brings out silver and white sparkles under specific lighting conditions. Regardless of your color preference, each GT will have matching brake calipers and come outfitted with the MSO Black Pack appearance package, a black roof, and black twin-10-spoke forged alloy wheels.

McLaren

On the interior, drivers will find new diamond-stitched leather upholstery adorned with MSO logos, as well as a Union Jack design on the armrest and key fob. While the aesthetics have been thoroughly revamped, the car’s non-hybrid, 4.0-liter V8 engine remains unchanged, producing 612 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque.

McLaren

Unfortunately, these eight exclusive GTs are reserved for the UK market. However, McLaren’s MSO division would undoubtedly be open to creating something similar for enthusiasts in other regions.
