Mansory Tackles Aston Martin DBX with Surprising Restraint

Aftermarket tuner Mansory is notorious for its extreme and often controversial body kits, leaving car enthusiasts with polarized opinions. However, in a surprising turn, Mansory's modification to the Aston Martin DBX reveals an approach that's not quite as extreme as their previous undertakings. Here's a look at what's new with this particular DBX.

New Construction Unveiled by Wheels Boutique:

  • Lowered Stance: The DBX has been set closer to the ground and equipped with new wheels, heavily tinted windows, and a full chrome delete for the brightwork.

  • Carbon Fiber Accents: The highlight of this makeover is undoubtedly in the bodywork. The front bumper has been replaced with a rougher carbon fiber section, a design choice that also applies to the side skirts and large rear diffuser, now holding two centrally placed exhaust tips.

  • Wheels that Command Attention: The DBX stands firm on 20-inch Anrky AN20 Series II wheels that fill the wheel arches, giving a strong indication that the suspension has been lowered.

  • Interior and Engine Remain Unchanged: A lack of interior images leaves us to assume that the cabin remains untouched, as does the engine.

An Unexpected Turn?

The restrained modification of the DBX is notably different from Mansory's past projects, such as the wildly styled forged carbon DBX kit earlier this year. Some recent upgrades, such as those made to the Rolls-Royce Ghost, have also shown less flamboyant designs.

Final Thoughts:

Mansory's Aston Martin DBX modification isn't quite in line with their typical "sickeningly styled" upgrades, and while it may not be everyone's taste, it shows an unexpected restraint. It's safe to say that Mansory's kits still continue to intrigue car enthusiasts and wealthy luxury car owners looking for something different.

Whether or not this DBX modification marks a change in Mansory's design philosophy remains to be seen. What's clear, however, is that the tuner has not lost its ability to create attention-grabbing, distinctive looks for high-end vehicles.
