Manhart's New MH5 800 Package Gives BMW M5 Insane 804 HP

Manhart has been delivering modified F90 M5s in the shape of the MH5 700 since 2018, but the fresh and even more ferocious MH5 800 is based on the facelifted 2021 M5 and the 2022 M5 CS.

The twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 produces 804 hp (599 kW / 815 PS) and 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque in this configuration. This gives it 187 hp above the standard M5 Competition and 177 hp over the factory's most potent M5 CS.

This was made possible with Manhart's turbo performance package, intercooler, carbon intake, exhaust, and ECU remapping, as well as an improvement to the 8-speed automatic transmission to handle the extra torque (+300 Nm / 221 lb-ft).

The manufacturer did not disclose performance data, but we are confident that the MH5 800 would outperform the standard M5 Competition, which speeds from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.3 seconds and tops out at 305 km/h (190 mph).

Manhart's new exhaust system features "Race" downpipes that don't have catalytic converters, stainless steel OPF-delete substitution pipes, and a stainless steel back silencer with valve manipulation. Carbon-coating or ceramics finishing is an option for the four tailpipes. The downpipes, in case you were wondering, do not have TÜV accreditation and can only be utilized in export industries outside of Germany.

Aside from the motor and exhaust, Manhart boosted the handling by installing adjustable H&R decreasing springs (-30 mm). While the Manhart official shots depict a pre-facelift BMW F90 M5, the improvements are also accessible for the younger version.

The most noticeable visual changes are the 21-inch Manhart Concave One alloy wheels in matte black, which are fitted in mixed performance tires (265/30ZR21 in the front and 305/25ZR21 in the back). A carbon-fiber aero package and a carbon bonnet with GTR inlets are also available.

Manhart picked a matte red metallic cover with a black stripe and black side graphics for this instance.

Inside, there's a Rolls-Royce-style sky rooftop with LEDs, as well as plenty of carbon fiber detail on the dash, steering wheel, and shift paddles.

According to the official brochure, the overall cost of the improvements, including VAT, is €46,045 ($54,585) over the cost of the donor car. This is €15,795 ($18,728) for motor alterations, €10,485 ($12,428) for exhaust, €3,324 ($3,944) for wheels and suspension, and €15,472 ($18,344) for the entire cosmetic package.
