Manhart's MHX5 700 Delivers 730 Horsepower

The German tuner Manhart has produced a new version of their modified X5, now known as the MHX5 700.
The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine powering the X5 Competition makes 625 horsepower and 750 pound-feet of torque.

Even though it's a fantastic SUV, Manhart decided to tinker with it a bit and increase its power output to 730 horsepower and 664 lb-ft. Manhart may either install its MHtronik auxiliary control device or remap the ECU to obtain these results.

A stainless steel exhaust system with valve control and four 100 mm tailpipes has also been installed. Those who want to stand out in the crowd could also select race downpipes without catalytic converters, Manhart stainless steel OPF Delete substitute pipes and the Manhart OPF Deleter.

Just as important for improving the MHX5 700's handling is the addition of a set of height-adjustable H&R coil springs. Black 23x11-inch wheels with 315/25 tires are also mounted.

The BMW's bodywork has also been tweaked. A carbon fiber front splitter, two-piece carbon fiber side skirts, and a carbon fiber diffuser with a central fog light are all included in this MHX5 700 package. Several interior modifications have also been performed, including Manhart paddle shifters, a carbon fiber steering wheel spoke, and exclusive floor mats.
