Manhart's Boosted BMW X3 M Competition Has 626 HP

BMW has previously redesigned the X3 M and X4 M, but no additional power has been added. Manhart, on the other hand, offers even more performance than BMW X3 M Competition's 503 hp. Also, MHX3 600 provides a fresh look.

The car shown here is a Limited 01/10, which means the tuner will only make 9 more of this particular model. The twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine is rated at 626 hp (467 kW / 635 PS) and torque of 785 Nm (576 lb-ft).

The MHtronic auxiliary control unit allowed for a 123 hp (92 kW / 126 PS) and 135 Nm (99 lb-ft) improvement over the original BMW X3 M Competition. Upgrades are also available for the M3-based MH3 600, which uses the same motor. The MHX3 600 Limited 01/10 is based on the pre-facelifted X3 M, as seen in the photos. On the BMW's powerful body, the matte dark blue wrapping with grey Manhart stickers looks gorgeous.

Inside the cabin, there are more carbon-fiber accents, and all BMW insignia have been replaced with the tuner's logo. A set of 22-inch Alpina alloy wheels with 255/35ZR22 front and 295/30ZR22 back performance tires have also been installed by the German tuner. H&R springs have been installed in the suspension, dropping the car by 30 mm (1.2 inches) for better handling.

On its Facebook page, Manhart has advertised the second example of the MHX3 600 for €118,900 ($138,795). The standard X3 M costs $69,900 in the United States, while Manhart's tweaked car is built on the much more pricey BMW X3 M Competition. To top it all off, the more aggressively styled X4 M Competition can get identical cosmetic and performance enhancements.
