If you're looking for a luxury convertible, go no further than BMW's 8-Series Convertible. A new tuning kit from Manhart is now available for BMW M850i owners who seek the power and performance of a more powerful version.

For the 4.4-liter Biturbo V8, the tuning kit comprises ECU remapping, updated turbochargers, a revised intercooler, and a sports air filter, as well as enhancements to the eight-speed automatic transmission.

As an outcome, the engine's power and torque are increased from 522 hp (390 kW / 530 PS) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) to 700 hp (715 PS) and 925 Nm (682 lb-ft). This boosts the car's power over the original M8 Competition's 617 hp (460 kW / 626 PS) and torque of 750 Nm (553 lb-ft).

Manhart's stainless steel exhaust system with valve control and four carbon or ceramic coated tailpipes is also available, as are race downpipes without catalytic converter and OPF delete. The brake system is kept standard, but the suspension has been updated with H&R springs, which lowers the car by 30 mm (1.2 inches).

The inclusion of a splitter, a lip spoiler, and a diffuser, all constructed of carbon fiber, distinguishes the MH8 700 Cabriolet aesthetically. The combined performance tires on the 20-inch Manhart Concave One wheels measure 245/35 in the front and 275/30 in the back.

Furthermore, for a traditional Manhart design, golden highlights are applied to the black-painted exterior, while carbon-fiber embellishments are added to the steering wheel and carbon shift paddles on the inside. The MH8 700 Cabriolet, which falls below the much more potent M8-based MH8 800 on Manhart's lineup, has yet to be priced.
