Lotus Evija Comes With Its Own Soundtrack

A music production did something extraordinary. He made a song inspired by Evija's V8-engine, more exactly, the song is a remix of the famous Type 49's Formula One car's V8 loud sounds. Lotus cars are famous for their engine sounds, especially those with four- or six-cylinder ones.

Despite the fact that  Evija would be the first electric car to be more silent, Lotus decided to ask the music producer, Patrick Patrikios, to make the remix - the sounds will be programmed into their upcoming Evija project.

The producer had successful projects with artists like Sia and Britney Spears, and a collaboration with the Lotus car maker will be successful. Being a brand fan helped him to create a unique piece of art to honor the carmaker's heritage.  Remember the famous Lotus sonorous engines? They helped to create the perfect harmony.

When your work with music for an artist, the singer is the one that adds pure emotion, but in this case, the V8 was the performer. Patrick managed to teleport the engine's raw edge and emotion to reach the listener. It's lovely how the Type 49's eight-cylinder, can make you enjoy the sounds. There are the exhaust's notes that were digitally remastered to play with the driving sounds' frequency.

According to Patrik, he succeeded by adjusting the replay speeds and filtering digitally to generate the soundscape for the Evija. This is an organic process, which only people who work in the music industry would understand its depths.

There are also some either bonuses included. The producer developed various chimes and tones to resonate through Evija's cabin. For, example, when the driver would activate the turn signals or when the seatbelt isn't fastened you'll get an original sound reminder. Until we'll get to enjoy a real drivable Evija with the soundtrack, we can enjoy the result presented in the video below.
