Look At This Tuned BMW M3 E36—It's Insane!

The BMW M3 Coupe model from the E36 generation still looks great after all these years. Yet, the factory bodywork has aged badly. With the M3 GTR racer as inspiration, LTO (Live To Offend) released a widebody kit designed by Khyzyl Saleem.

In the photo is a model constructed by Mush Karkhi and shown at the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The donor vehicle is a 1995 BMW M3 that was in bad condition when work on the modification began. Aside from a few panels, the whole body was modified.

The standard rectangular air intakes on the bumper have been kept, but a splitter that comes close to the ground has been added. The classic livery with BMW M colors really helps the racing aesthetics stand out, as do the vents on the hood, the broad fender flares with integrated inlets, and the expanded side sills.

The M3's rear end has been upgraded with a huge wing, an adjustable fin, a diffuser, and a new cover for the rear windshield. To complete the look, they mounted Toyo tires on custom-made GTR three-piece center-lock wheels. Khyzyl Saleem claims that this BMW's 3.2-liter straight-six S52 engine has been overhauled and enhanced to produce 444 horsepower on regular gasoline and up to 592 horsepower on E85 fuel.

Compared to the base US-spec E36 M3, which produced just 240 horsepower, those numbers represent substantial gains. You may purchase an E36 Coupe widebody kit directly from LTO's website. Depending on the options and the material you choose, you may expect to pay anywhere from $4,950 to $7,450.
