Little Suzuki Jimny 4x4 You've Always Wanted Is Now Available in Pickup Version

Conversion kits for Suzuki Jimny pickup trucks have been around for a while, but the current-generation Jimny conversion kit is innovative, according to Farmers Weekly. In 2017, Shropshire Quads, a small family-owned ATV dealer, began transforming Jimnies into pickup trucks to fill a void in the agricultural car segment.

According to the company's website, a compact, lightweight pickup with better comforts and reliability than your typical UTVs was needed to make up the difference. Following considerable research and development, the business landed on the tiny but powerful Suzuki Jimny as a platform, and it has been selling barely used Jimny truck modifications ever since.

Since the new Jimny has the same ladder-frame architecture as the earlier model, modifying its truck conversion kit for the newest Suzuki SUV wasn't too difficult. The five-speed manual gearbox and low-range transfer case are also kept over from the previous generation Jimny. 

The new model's larger motor, which now displaces 1.5 liters and produces 100 hp and 95 lb-ft of torque, is a nice addition (up 14 hp from the previous version).
