It's A Brutal Track Car: Manhart's BMW M2 Competition

Despite its age, the first-gen BMW M2 Competition is still held in high respect as one of the world's top drivers' cars. After a deep interest from the tuning industry, Manhart has decided to construct one final hardcore track-oriented version of this car. There's no doubt about it; they achieved a stunning outcome.

The 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine beneath the hood has received a new turbo assembly as well as a fresh intercooler. The inline-six engine produces 630 hp (463 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque thanks to a comprehensive Manhart stainless steel exhaust system with valve control and improved engine technology.

The front axle now has a brake system borrowed from a BMW M4 GT4 with six-piston calipers on 380 mm discs. Meanwhile, the factory brakes are still in place. KW has also fitted a three-way Coilover configuration to the suspension. The vehicle is mounted on 19-inch wheels with 265/35 and 295/30 tires.

This is a track-ready car, complete with no rear seats and a full roll cage. The interior modifications over the regular BMW M2 Competition include Recaro sports seats, carbon shift paddles, a carbon package for the center console, and an Awron extra display.
