Hennessey's Caddy CT5-V Blackwing Produces 1,000 Horsepower

Hennessey unveils their latest masterpiece: an all-encompassing enhancement package for the awe-inspiring Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. The tuner began by modifying the cylinder heads of the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine.

The team also upgraded the lifters and pushrods, improved the intake and exhaust valves, installed larger heat exchangers, and added long-tube stainless steel headers.

The new air intake, custom camshaft, improved fuel system, and high-performance catalytic converters are also included. The factory supercharger has also been swapped out for a more powerful Hennessey-designed version.

Compared to the base model's 668 hp and 659 lb-ft, a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing with the Hennessey H1000 package is now capable of producing a whooping 1,000 hp and 966 lb-ft of torque. The tuned CT5-V Blackwing also comes with a limited warranty of 2 years or 24,000 miles. However, the specific pricing information has not been disclosed yet.
