Hennessey Performance has recently unveiled an upgrade to its Ford Broncos that increases the Raptor's output by over 20 percent. VelociRaptor 500 Bronco is the official name of this SUV that produces 500 horsepower.

The VelociRaptor 400 Bronco, the tuner's previous modified Bronco, had 411 horsepower thanks to its 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Meanwhile, this new version borrows the Bronco Raptor's 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 and makes several additional adjustments to increase the vehicle's already impressive horsepower rating.

But not every aspect of the new model is an improvement over the previous one. As a result of the increase in power, torque has been sacrificed. In the VelociRaptor 400 Bronco, the company has succeeded in increasing torque to 600 lb-ft. VelociRaptor 500 Broncos, on the other hand, have just 550 lb-ft of torque.

Included in the package are such goodies as a high-capacity intercooler with a blow-off valve, an updated engine management system, new bumpers, 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels with 37-inch tires, Hennessey Heritage graphics, VelociRaptor 500 Bronco badging, and more. In addition, Hennessey provides a guarantee that is good for three years or 36,000 miles.

Add $32,950 to the price of a new Ford Bronco Raptor, which begins at $73,780, to get the VelociRaptor 500 Bronco package price. The total comes to $106,730.
