Hennessey Is Working On A 600 HP Gift For The Legendary Ford F-150 Raptor

The VelociRaptor conversion by Hennessey has become somewhat of a cult classic in the automotive world. The tuning kit, which comes in a variety of flavors, significantly improves the performance of Ford models like the Bronco, Ranger, and, of course, numerous Ford F-150 Raptor pickups.

For the 2021 model year, the tuner has put his skills to use, and the results are just as impressive as they have always been. It's worth noting that the VelociRaptor upgrade increases power and torque while also decreasing acceleration times.

Induction system upgrades, a high-capacity intercooler with a blow-off valve, and retuned motor management software are all on the way, according to Hennessey. As a result of these modifications, Hennessey hopes to increase the VelociRaptor's power by 150-hp, putting the total output at 600-hp and 622 lb-ft. The team's goal is a 0-60 mph sprint time of 4.2 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.9 seconds. The goal is ambitious.

Optional 20-inch Hennessey wheels, Brembo six-piston brakes, and a suspension leveling kit are also on the table. The vehicle can be customized even further with VelociRaptor badging and decals. For this reason, Hennessey is bringing back its upgraded off-road package, which includes new bumpers with LED lights, wheels, and off-road tires.

Hennessey claims that most of its customers go all out when upgrading their trucks. There is a total price of $110,000 for this configuration, which includes the basic Ford F-150 Raptor as well. With the engine upgrades, the VelociRaptor 600 starts at $85,950 and comes with the same three-year/36,000-mile warranty as to the standard model.

Anyone interested should move quickly as the tuner expects this to be one of its most popular models going forward. The company plans to build only 250 units a year, but customer orders are now being accepted. Early next year, deliveries are slated to begin.
