G-Power Just Turned the BMW M5 Into a 986-HP Monster

Cars keep getting faster every year, but do you ever stop and think about how far things have already gone?
The new M5 is a good example. They could’ve followed the trend and cut it down. Keeping the V8 makes it feel a bit more special right away. From the factory, it already pushes 717 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque, which sounds like more than enough for real life.

But then you have companies like G-Power that look at those numbers and still want more. They took the M5 and turned it into something called the G5M Bi-Turbo. It’s not just about adding power for the sake of it. The tuner changed the downpipes, added sport catalytic converters, reworked the exhaust, upgraded the intercoolers, and fitted a carbon intake. It’s like giving the engine more space to breathe and deal with the extra pressure.

Then you see the number. 986 hp, 885 lb-ft. At that point, it’s hard to even picture what that feels like from behind the wheel.

No official figures yet, but the base car already runs 0–62 mph in 3.5 seconds. This version leans more into how it delivers that speed. Smoother, stronger, always pulling.
At some point, you stop thinking about numbers anyway. It’s already deep into territory most roads can’t really justify.

You can pick the upgrades one by one or go for the full package, which comes in at just over €31,000 (about $36,300). That price doesn’t cover the extras though. The Eventuri carbon intake adds another €2,856, and the carbon turbo inlet is €892 more.
