Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition Adds 33-Inch Tires And Blacked-Out Style

Jeep knows its Wrangler buyers love a good theme, and the new Smoky Mountain edition leans into that idea hard. Revealed at the Smoky Mountain Invasion in Tennessee, the special-edition Willys mixes dark styling, off-road hardware, and a few fun details that tie it back to the region.

The outside gets a gloss-black grille, Smoky Mountain hood graphics, black 17-inch wheels, and 33-inch tires.

Steel rock rails add some real off-road value, while the body-color hardtop and fender flares keep the look clean. Inside, Jeep adds black seats with Terracotta stitching, Blaze Orange accents, and a diamond-plate pattern. A mama bear and cub appear on the shifter, while a special plaque on the rear gate shows a 1941 Willys parachuting into the Smoky Mountains.

Jeep also gives the Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition plenty of equipment, including heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a garage-door opener, and a 12.3-inch Uconnect display. Underneath, Dana 44 axles, 4.10 gearing, a locking rear differential, and a trailer hitch make sure the Smoky Mountain name has some substance behind it.

Power comes from either a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with 270 hp and 295 lb-ft, or a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft. Both engines use an eight-speed automatic.
