2027 Hyundai Palisade Gets a 9.4-Inch Taller Roof And VIP-Style Interior

Hyundai has found a pretty unusual way to make the Palisade feel more luxurious. For 2027, the Korean-market SUV gets a new High Roof version with 9.4 inches of extra roof height.
Hyundai keeps the total height at 78.9 inches, so the bigger roof still fits standard underground parking.

The 2027 Hyundai Palisade High Roof gets a body-colored roof extension, aluminum-style trim, black window surrounds, and 21-inch wheels. Preview Electronically Controlled Suspension also comes standard, using the front camera and navigation data to adjust the dampers.

Inside, the extra height creates a lot more headroom. The roof adds LED reading lights, climate vents, a control panel, a 21.4-inch display, and Starry Sky ambient lighting. The optional VIP Package 2 brings wireless charging, an air purifier, UV-C sterilization, temperature-controlled cup holders, and VIP floor mats.

Hyundai also adds the Black Ink and XRT trims to the 2027 Korean lineup. Black Ink gets black exterior details, 21-inch wheels, Preview ECS, and second-row massage seats. XRT brings a different grille, extra cladding, roof rails, 20-inch wheels, a 14-speaker Bose system, and ventilated second-row seats. The entry-level Exclusive also gets a panoramic curved display and upgraded driver-assistance tech.

The powertrain lineup stays unchanged. The 2.5-liter turbo makes 277 hp, while the self-charging hybrid produces 329 hp. Both come with FWD or AWD. Prices for the 2027 Hyundai Palisade start at ₩44.78 million ($32,300), while the seven-seat High Roof Hybrid reaches ₩81.59 million ($59,000). Would you pick the High Roof Palisade for the extra space?
