Jimmy Choo Just Turned The IM L6 Into A $37K Luxury EV

What happens when a fashion icon gets to redesign a Chinese electric sedan? Jimmy Choo has given the IM L6 a luxury makeover, adding plenty of blue leather, crystal details, and a few personal touches.
The Jimmy Choo edition comes in two versions priced at 234,900 yuan ($34,900) and 249,900 yuan ($37,200). IM plans an initial run of 1,000 cars. The mechanical package stays the same, while the exterior gains blue brake calipers, a special rear badge, crystal-style camera covers, and a crystal IM emblem on the hood.

The bigger changes happen inside. The cabin gets a blue-and-white theme, with plush blue leather covering the upper dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels. The stitching even spells out “Prof. Jimmy Choo.” White leather covers the seats, which feature custom embroidery on the headrests. The result feels much closer to a fashion collection than a typical special-edition car.

Underneath, the L6 keeps its 800-volt architecture and supports DC charging at up to 396 kW. Rear-wheel-drive versions make 315 hp or 402 hp, with 76-kWh and 93-kWh batteries offering up to 450 miles and 528 miles of range. The top Ultra gets a 103-kWh battery, two electric motors, and 670 hp, sending it from 0 to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds. With Jimmy Choo handling the looks and IM handling the hardware, would you call this a fashion statement or a genuinely cool special edition?
