Ferrari SF90 With A Novitec Exhaust System. Would You Tweak Your Ferrari If You Owned One?

Ferrari SF90 isn't a La Ferrari replacement, but it is the quickest and most pricey series-production vehicle available right now from Maranello. If the SF90's hypercar-rivaling performance, styling, and driving aspects aren't enough for you, Novitec has introduced an upgrade version.

As the German tuner agrees, that's only the beginning for the SF90, as more choices for increased performance and intensity will be available very soon.

To begin with, the SF90's powertrain includes a mid-mounted twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors. Novitec boosts the combustion engine's power while keeping the tri-motor setup's 217 hp (162 kW / 220 PS) intact. The V8's output is increased to 802 hp (598 kW / 813 hp) from the standard 769 hp (574 kW / 780 PS) due to the inclusion of a premium exhaust system and 100-cell metal catalysts.

At 7,750 rpm, Novitec Ferrari SF90 delivers 1,019 hp (760 kW / 1,033 PS) and 858 Nm (632.8 ft-lb) of torque, while at 6,100 rpm, it generates 858 Nm (632.8 ft-lb) of torque. When compared to the factory version, it has an extra +19 hp (25 kW / 33 PS) of power and +58 Nm (42.8 lb-ft) of torque. Although these changes may not appear to be substantial, Novitec claims that they have improved performance and has assured that more integral modifications would be forthcoming in the future.

Even if the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) remains constant at 2.5 seconds, the highest speed now surpasses the standard 340 km/h (211 mph).

Novitec chose the easy route in terms of design by simply changing the wheels on the SF90, which was already stunning. Vossen's ten-spoke forged NS 10 wheels, shown here in the "Bronzino" tint, come in 72 various colors. They have 255/35 ZR 20 front tires and 325/35 R 21 rear tires. Novitec will soon offer carbon fiber design elements to replace hard plastic in its products.

SF90 looks aggressive in black, and the Novitec wheels fit the style without being excessive. The inside can also be additionally polished with Alcantara and leather in any chosen shade, depending on the desires of each buyer.

The car sits near the ground due to Novitec's new sport springs. The SF90's suspension has been reduced by 30 mm in the front and 25 mm at the rear axle, giving it a more aggressive posture.

The new exhaust system comprises two stainless tailpipes with a diameter of 112 mm and carbon embellishers at the rear, making it lighter and noisier. The ultra-lightweight Inconel F1-derived material, as well as electrically operated active flaps, are available as options for the exhaust. For improved heat transfer and additional coolness, a 999 fine-gold plating is available on demand. The official youtube clip below gives more details on Novitec's SF90.
