Ferrari Purosangue Transformed: A Stunning SUV with a Widebody Kit and 820 HP

With the Purosangue, Ferrari ventures into new territory, launching an SUV that's a departure from its typical offerings. Although not the brand's first model with back doors, the Purosangue stands out from its predecessors like the 456 Venice GT.

Unlike Lamborghini's Urus, which dominates sales, Ferrari intends to keep the Purosangue exclusive, limiting its production to just 20% of the factory's annual capacity.

Pogea Racing has boldly reimagined the Purosangue, turning heads and stirring conversations among Ferrari purists. The SUV now sports 23-inch front wheels and even larger 24-inch rear wheels, all accommodated by expansive fenders and robust extensions.

Pogea Racing isn't alone in customizing the Purosangue, as Carlex Design previously introduced a two-tone project. However, Pogea's iteration is arguably more striking and uses carbon fiber extensively. The design is particularly notable at the rear, where quad exhaust tips reminiscent of the Corvette Z06 are complemented by an aggressive diffuser.

Currently, Pogea Racing is enhancing the SUV's naturally aspirated V12 engine, aiming for an output of 820 horsepower. While specific torque details are yet to be disclosed, it's expected to surpass Ferrari's own 530 pound-feet. There's growing speculation that tuners might eventually add turbochargers to push the V12 beyond 1,000 HP.

For those unfamiliar, Pogea Racing, a German tuner, specializes in modifying Alfa Romeo and Abarth models, with occasional forays into Ferrari. With over 25 years in the business, Pogea Racing is a respected name in the industry. While the widebody kit currently exists only in digital renderings, it could become a reality for those willing to invest in this exclusive upgrade.
