Explosive Novitec Tuning Gives The McLaren Elva 907 Horsepower

McLaren Elva was introduced in November 2019, and production was initially limited to 399 units. However, in 2020, the company reduced that number and decided to build only 149 examples. The Elva has an asking price of $1.69 million.

It's no doubt the McLaren Elva is already an extreme roadster with no roof or windshield and a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine generating 804 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. However, German tuner Novitec has taken it to the next level by increasing the output to 907 hp and 655 lb-ft of torque.

This is achieved by installing the N-Tronic module from Novitec with updated fuel injection, ignition, and electronic boost pressure controls. Additionally, the tuner adds an exhaust system that reduces back pressure, and buyers can choose to add gold plating to the thermal insulation for further customization.

According to Novitec, the upgraded McLaren Elva can now reach 62 mph in 2.7 seconds, 124 mph in under 4 seconds, and has a top speed of over 205 mph. This is an improvement over the stock Elva, which has official specs of 2.8 seconds for 0-62 mph, 6.8 seconds for 0-124 mph, and a top speed of 203 mph.

In addition to the engine upgrades, Novitec offers a set of forged wheels for the McLaren Elva, measuring 20 inches in the front and 21 inches at the rear with a seven-pair spoke design. The wheels are available in 72 colors and a brushed or polished finish. Novitec also provides a set of springs that lower the car by 0.79 inches (20 millimeters) for a more aggressive stance.
