David Brown Automotive's (DBA) unique vision for the Mini Remastered Oselli Edition shows a high class for this old-school restomod and more details were revealed. The high-performance limited-edition variant of the restomoded classic Mini was first announced back two years ago.

What started as an idea of a high-performance Mini, finally reached the phase of getting ready for the production line. The new Oselli Edition model restomod is a fruitful collaboration with classic car performance specialist Oselli. The first hot hatch vehicles will reach the customer and leave the workshop at the end of April.

The Oselli Edition Mini hides under the bonnet an upgraded version of the A-Series engine, which was modernized up to 1,45 liters in capacity. Other upgrades made are by twin SU carburetors, a five-speed gearbox. DBA didn't reveal yet the output numbers but with the little unveiled information we know the performances won't disappoint.

This is one of David Brown’s most successful Mini restomod also has an upgraded suspension and braking, wider 13-inch Enkei wheels wrapped in stickier tires to sharpen the handling. Customers can even choose between two- or four-seat configurations for their new Oselli Edition. Meanwhile, the two-seater features bucket seats and a hand-wrapped roll cage in the rear.

Michelle Gay, Sales & Marketing Director at David Brown Automotive, stated that they're pleased to have the first units of Mini Remastered, Oselli Edition almost ready to hit both the road and the racetrack. “Alongside our engineering partner, Oselli, we are committed to making sure this performance version of Mini Remastered is the complete package, so alongside challenges around the pandemic, this model has been in planning for longer than usual, but only to allow us to perfect the ultimate race-ready city car package.”

There will be a total of 60 units produced, so don't waste your chance if you're a fan of the Mini, DBA, or Oselli's work.
