Custom Nissan 350Z Goes Full Porsche Vibe With Slantnose Nose And 992 LED Bar

Every once in a while, a build pops up that makes you look twice and wonder what on earth you’re seeing. Case in point: a Nissan 350Z in Japan that has been transformed into something resembling a Porsche 911 Slantnose, mixed with touches from the latest 992-generation 911.
The project comes from Instagram user Catasy_935Z, who has spent serious time reshaping the car with custom bodywork. The front end was the first big change, swapping the familiar Nissan 350Z face for a bespoke Slantnose-inspired setup. Thin LED running lights, Porsche-style intakes, and a big black splitter make it clear this is no ordinary Z.

At first the back still looked like a mildly modified Nissan, but that didn’t last long. The rear has now been reimagined with hand-built quarter panels and the full-width LED light bar from a 992 911. A ducktail-style tailgate, new diffuser, and quad exhaust setup seal the deal. The only real giveaways that it started life as a 350Z are the roofline, windows, and door skins.

A set of aftermarket wheels tucked neatly under the widened arches completes the look. Under the hood? That part is still a mystery, though considering the attention poured into the bodywork, it would be surprising if the engine hadn’t been given some love too.

Whatever’s hiding beneath, the car has already impressed. A couple of months ago this custom Nissan 350Z picked up an award at the Stancenation show in Osaka, and honestly, it deserves a few more.
