Brabus' Adjustments To The Mercedes-Benz EQS Add Both Range And Appeal

The German tuning company Brabus has shifted its focus to Mercedes' flagship electric vehicle. First off, a wind tunnel-perfected aerodynamic body package has been added to the EQS 450.

Mercedes-Benz EQS already had the lowest drag coefficient amongst production automobiles with a Cd of 0.20, but Brabus has created an even more aerodynamic form to reduce the Cd by 7.2% in comparison to the standard vehicle. Carbon fiber is used for all the aftermarket accessories, which can be polished or left matte.

While the back features a diffuser to lessen aerodynamic lift, the front receives a new front spoiler lip. The aerodynamic improvements help the Mercedes-Benz EQS get 7% more range when travelling between 62 and 87 mph.

If you've been paying attention, you've probably noticed that Monoblock wheels have been installed. They range in size from 20 to 22 inches and have been tailored to fit the EQS. Tires measuring 255/35 ZR22 up front and 295/30 ZR22 out back completed the 22-inch wheelset.

To add insult to injury, the EQS's air suspension has been lowered by 0.6 inches in the front and 0.8 inches in the rear, respectively, to bring it closer to the ground. Brabus provides a wide range of options for customizing the inside, including a wide variety of leathers and other materials for those who want to splurge.
