Blitz Debuts A Modified Aero Kit For The Toyota GR86 And Subaru BRZ

Blitz unveiled a stunning body kit for the Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ last year. Now the tuner has returned to the sportscars with a refined new take on them. The revised package keeps the primary visual distinction between the GR86 and the BRZ—the front bumper—intact.

Blitz gave each a more prominent splitter with black and body-colored highlights, lowering the profile. The side skirts on the models have been extended for better aerodynamics, but the front and rear fenders have been left alone.

The tuner placed fins on both sides of the diffuser in the rear. There are two types of rear spoilers available, low and high, with bases of varying heights and movable wings. For aesthetic reasons, there is a body-colored extension at the base of the rear windshield.

The twin tailpipes with a blue-burned finish and the decal set are extra. Blitz also provides some mechanical enhancements for the sportscar pair. The standard 232 horsepower of the naturally aspirated 2.4-liter boxer engine was increased by making modifications to the engine's intake, cooling system, electronic control unit (ECU), and exhaust system.

In Japan, you can now order the kit. Prices for these add-ons range from ¥110,000 ($769) for side sill extensions to ¥49,500 ($346) for diffuser flaps and ¥38,500 ($269) for the rear window garnish. The front spoiler costs ¥60,500 ($423) or ¥88,000 ($616) with the LED strip. The cost of the rear wing ranges from ¥275,000 ($1,923) when constructed from FRP to ¥330,000 ($2,308) if built from carbon. The prices are for unpainted FRP parts and do not include installation.
