A recent partnership between American Expedition Vehicles and Chevrolet has resulted in the introduction of off-road improvements for the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado. Despite the inherent capability of the ZR2, the tuner elevates its performance to a higher level.

The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison package is a true off-road enthusiast's dream come true. It boasts top-of-the-line Multimatic DSSV dampers, front and rear jounce control dampers, locking front/rear differentials, boron steel skid plates, and 17-inch beadlock wheels with 35-inch mud-terrain tires.

The revamped Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison stands out from the crowd with its exclusive bumpers, fender flares, and a spare tire carrier that takes inspiration from the racing world. Other exciting features are also included to enhance the overall experience. The AEV badges on the front headrests and all-weather floor mats add a touch of style to the interior.

Chevy boasts some impressive numbers with its best-in-class approach angle of 38.2 degrees, departure angle of 26 degrees, and breakover angle of 26.9 degrees, which are all aided by the tires. AEV sticks to the tried-and-true by keeping the engine the same. This means you'll still get the impressive 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque from the 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

There was no mention of the package's price, but we anticipate that it will be quite expensive. It's worth noting that the Colorado ZR2 Bison underwent rigorous testing by none other than Chad Hall, an off-road racing champion, both in competitions and on the unforgiving Rubicon Trail.
