With an emphasis on improving aerodynamics, providing a selection of alloy wheels, and optimizing suspension, AC Schnitzer has launched its own range of improvements for the 5-Series and i5 series. Also, for a future version, there will be performance modifications for some diesel and gasoline engines.

Last year, AC Schnitzer began production of lightweight alloy wheels for the G60 BMW 5-Series in a variety of styles, including AC1, AC3, and AC4, with diameters of 19, 20, or 21 inches. Thankfully, the sedan now has an additional bodykit.

All 5-Series trims may use this package as long as they come standard with the M-Sport package. The front and rear bumpers are adorned with matching side skirts and a noticeable splitter, while the trunk and roof of the rear end are adorned with twin spoilers. In order to prevent scratches while loading freight, the tuner has also installed a bumper trim piece.

An optional footrest, alloy pedals, and coverings for the iDrive controller and key holder round out the interior customization options available to owners. The BMW tuner also offers spring and spacer options for lowering. The 520i, 530i, 520d, and 523d models with rear-wheel drive are subject to a 0.6–0.8 inch drop, whereas the 530i, 520d, and 523d xDrive models with BMW's all-wheel drive system are subject to a 1-1.2 inch drop.

The black anodized metal spacers provide an additional width of 0.4 inches on each side. The all-electric BMW i5 sedan is also eligible for most of the aforementioned enhancements, as well as the G61 Touring, with the exception of the sedan-exclusive double rear spoiler.

With a price tag that may reach €5,890 ($6,309) for certain sizes, finishes, and variations, AC Schnitzer alloy wheels are the priciest component. Priced at €1,290 ($1,382) for the splitter, €840 ($900) for the side skirts, €540 ($573) for the lip spoiler, and €490 ($525) for the roof spoiler, these are all components of the body package. As for the lowering springs, they cost €490 ($525) and the spacers €232 ($249).
