ABT’s Audi RS Q8 Legacy Edition Nears Urus Power With 760 HP
by AutoExpert | 12 February, 2025
The Audi RS Q8 is already an absolute beast, but ABT Sportsline has pushed it even further with the new Legacy Edition. ABT has been tuning Audi’s high-performance SUV for years, but this is their most extreme package yet.
At the heart of the upgrade is the Power R performance boost, which cranks the RS Q8’s output from 591 hp and 590 lb-ft to a monstrous 760 hp and 723 lb-ft. That puts it just 29 hp shy of the Urus SE plug-in hybrid, giving the RS Q8 a serious edge over its Italian cousin.

To complement the extra power, ABT has fitted a new stainless steel exhaust system with 4-inch quad tailpipes. Although the Urus has always produced a more aggressive sound than the RS Q8, the upgraded exhaust system from ABT could potentially make the Audi stand out in the sound department. Handling also gets a serious upgrade, thanks to ABT’s electronic roll stabilization system (eAWS), which works alongside the ABT Level Control (ALC) electronic air suspension for improved ride dynamics.

Visually, the RSQ8 Legacy Edition stands out with a range of matte carbon fiber accents, including a new front splitter, hood inserts, side skirts, and a redesigned rear fascia with an updated spoiler and diffuser. The aggressive look is completed by a set of 23-inch black-spoke wheels.

Inside, ABT has added carbon fiber paddle shifters, dashboard accents, gear shifter trim, and seat frame covers, giving the cabin a more high-end, motorsport-inspired feel. Pricing details haven’t been announced yet.
