ABT Just Built a 205-HP Motorcycle With MV Agusta

ABT built its reputation on making fast cars even faster. Now it is turning its attention to two wheels.
To mark its 130th anniversary, the German tuner has partnered with MV Agusta to create the Brutale 1000 ABT, a limited-run hyper-naked that blends Italian design with ABT’s signature obsession for detail. Only 130 examples will be built, making it as exclusive as you’d expect from two brands with a taste for the dramatic.

The changes are mostly visual, but they’re hard to miss. ABT reworked 19 components in carbon fiber, including the airbox cover, fuel tank side panels, front spoiler, and engine covers. The standout feature is the carbon-fiber turbofan cover on the rear wheel, which gives the bike a distinctive look and is said to improve airflow. The paint combines Nero Carbonio Metallizzato with Rosso Fuoco accents, while the Alcantara seat features a honeycomb pattern inspired by ABT’s automotive projects.

Mechanically, the 998 cc inline-four remains every bit as intense as before, producing 199 hp and 85.6 lb-ft of torque. Buyers who plan to spend time on track can opt for an Arrow titanium exhaust and revised engine mapping that lifts output to 205 hp. That package also trims 6.6 lbs and adds upgraded front brake discs, while the fully adjustable Öhlins electronic suspension carries over unchanged.

Production begins in late 2026. Pricing in Italy starts at €40,990, which is a hefty premium over the standard Brutale 1000 RR. Then again, motorcycles like this aren’t bought because they make financial sense. They’re bought because they make your heart beat a little faster every time you open the garage door.
