Mitsubishi Triton Savana Sertões Gets Factory Off-Road Gear

The Mitsubishi Triton has kept the same basic generation since 2023, but Brazil keeps finding new ways to dress it up. The latest version takes a different approach. The Triton Savana Sertões focuses on getting through rough terrain, with recovery gear and off-road equipment included from the factory.
The special edition pays tribute to Brazil’s Rally dos Sertões, which has run since 1993. Mitsubishi gives it Cinza Concrete paint with orange details and satin-gray trim. The truck also gets front and rear skid plates plus side steps that double as rock sliders. X-Liner coating protects all of them from scratches.
The useful stuff sits higher up too. A factory snorkel increases the wading depth to 31.5 inches, while the steel roof rack can carry 110 lbs. Mitsubishi includes a shovel and recovery boards for muddy trails.
New 18-inch wheels wear Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac RT all-terrain tires. Inside, the Mitsubishi Triton Savana Sertões gets leather seats, orange stitching, rubber mats, a 9-inch infotainment screen, a 360-degree camera, seven airbags, and ADAS features.
The mechanical package comes from the Katana trim. Its 2.4-liter bi-turbo diesel makes 202 hp and 346.6 lb-ft, with a six-speed automatic and Super Select 4WD-II. The system includes full-time 4H, center and rear differential locks, low range, seven drive modes, and Active Yaw Control.
Mitsubishi puts the Savana Sertões at R$339,990 ($66,000). That price includes all the off-road gear from the start. Is that worth paying extra, or would you rather build your own Triton?
