993 Speedster By Gunther Werks Is A Rare Gem

Gunther Werks' tunning skills were focused on the 993-generation Porsche 911 and the modern spin result is a success. The 993- based Speedster will be available in an amount of 25 cars only, but Gunther’s Speedster isn’t just a tunned car. This is a Porsche adaptation to a 21st-century power and stunning look. 

The Californian tuner redesign started with carbon fiber covering for space formerly occupied by the rear seats, the front bumper; created a decklid specific to Speedster, and added new-look rear lights. The renderings in Gunther's vision give a modern perspective with the windshield, but there is the option to buy one without it. Still, the Speedster looks way much masculine with it. 

The extra bracing tucked under the body reduces the usual loss of rigidity, while the roll hoops behind the seats protect the passengers if a roll-over situation occurs. The interior is almost all carbon fibred, which means that it’ll dominate, the floor, seat shells, and most part of the dashboard.

The 993 Speedster has a Rothsport Racing naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine which delivers 435 hp and 335 lb-ft power of torque. The engine is coupled with a six-speed manual transmission connected to the rear wheels.
