The New Nissan Juke Looks Even Wilder Now That It’s Electric

The Juke has always done its own thing, and that hasn’t changed. At its Vision event in Japan, Nissan pulled the wraps off the third-generation model, and it looks even bolder than expected.
This time, it goes fully electric. Production will take place in Sunderland, alongside the Leaf, and it rides on the CMF-EV (AmpR Medium) platform shared with models like the Renault Scenic E-Tech, Alpine A390, and Nissan Ariya. Global launch is set for spring next year.

Specs are still under wraps, and there’s no look at the interior yet. But the exterior is fully revealed, and it’s hard to miss. It leans heavily into sharp, angular shapes, with a blacked-out front, slim headlights, and a lot of sculpting across the body.
The wheel arches are squared off in black, and the bright green finish really brings out the lines, especially along the doors. It almost looks like a concept car that made it straight to production.

Some familiar touches stay. Rear door handles are still hidden in the C-pillars, and the back gets detailed LED taillights and a distinctive tailgate design.
Tech-wise, it follows the new Leaf with vehicle-to-grid capability. Battery options are expected to mirror that setup too, likely 52 kWh and 75 kWh packs.

Interestingly, the current Juke isn’t going away. Instead of replacing it, Nissan will sell both generations side by side, with the older model getting a light update to match the new design direction.
