2022 Ford Maverick Customization Options From Subtle To Extreme

Trucks are extremely popular for customizing, and Ford has provided us with some clues on the Maverick's future tendencies. Among Ford's more than 150 attachments for the truck are bedliners, bed rails, and tonneau covers that the company says are among the most preferred. 

Those who own the Maverick like the extra bed extension, which makes towing long objects easier. Maverick door sill plates, an Air Design tailgate spoiler, and Yakima tents are also available to customers.

Customer feedback, according to Ford's Megan Rodrigues, helped them build a selection of accessories that included both what consumers asked for and what they didn't even realize they wanted yet. Larger wheels, chunkier tires, and raise kits are just a few of the options available from the factory, according to Ford.

A 1.5-inch raise kit and 18-inch wheels with 31-inch all-terrain rubber made the Air Design Maverick stand out at SEMA last year, so it's no surprise these kits are becoming more trendy on trucks.

Some Maverick enthusiasts, on the other hand, have opted for a more street-oriented look. So goes Kenneth's bagged truck, which has 22-inch Asanti wheels, body-color fender flares, and bright artwork. Additionally, his truck has diamond-quilted leather seats and a unique music system.

Other clients, like Mike Meredith, are more concerned about performance. After months of work, Meredith was able to get his pickup up to a dyno-tested 278 horsepower (207 kW / 282 PS) and 379 pound-feet (513 Nm) of torque. Now is the time to see it.
