New off-road bits for the Ford Bronco are on display at SEMA this year, thanks to Ford Performance. The Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport models it will present at the SEMA exhibition in November were just unveiled by the automaker. The list begins with a fresh Ford Performance front-drive system that can enable a 5.38:1 gearset for much more off-road capability.

Following that, Ford Performance is introducing a severe-duty steering rack and tie rod ends for improved steering integrity under heavy loads. Ford Performance is also offering new 17-inch Method Race Wheels with bead lock capability. Finally, the 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder will be offered with a Ford Performance tune.

This Bronco, based on a Two-Door Black Diamond variant, has been turned into a compact pickup and is essentially lacking everything below the front cabin. It's referred to as a "half-truck hardtop" by Ford.
