The 2027 Lancia Gamma Looks Nothing Like Old Lancias
by AutoExpert | 28 May, 2026
Lancia is suddenly moving faster than anyone expected. Less than a day after Stellantis confirmed a new Alfa Romeo Giulietta replacement, the company has now revealed the first official details and images of the upcoming Lancia Gamma ahead of its Paris Motor Show debut this October.
The new Gamma steps into the increasingly crowded crossover-fastback segment, mixing coupe-SUV styling with both hybrid and fully electric powertrains.

Visually, it follows the direction introduced by the new Ypsilon, especially up front, where the split LED lighting and dark fascia give it a slightly futuristic, almost sci-fi look. Along the sides, flush door handles and clean body surfacing keep things sleek, while the black trim on the C-pillar quietly references the original Gamma Berlina from decades ago.

Underneath, Stellantis is giving buyers several different personalities to choose from. The entry-level hybrid uses a 143-hp electrified powertrain and claims more than 1,000 km (621 miles) of range. Above that sit three EV versions, starting with a 227-hp model capable of over 540 km (335 miles) on a charge. A longer-range variant pushes that figure beyond 740 km (460 miles), while the flagship dual-motor AWD version delivers 370 hp and up to 675 km (419 miles) of range.

Inside, the Gamma borrows some architecture from the DS No8 but tries to inject more Italian character into the mix. There’s a 10.25-inch digital cluster, a large 16-inch infotainment screen running Lancia’s SALA system, and the brand’s signature “tavolino” center tray inspired by a small coffee table. The cabin shown mixes black fabric, white synthetic leather, soft ambient lighting, and metallic accents in a way that feels more lounge-like than sporty.

Lancia still has a lot to prove, but the Gamma feels like the first model in years that might actually get people curious about the brand again.
