Ferrari Purosangue Gets Handling Speciale Package With Tighter Feel
by AutoExpert | 30 April, 2026
The Purosangue already has a strong identity. Big V12, well-balanced chassis, and comfort that works every day. Ferrari now introduces a new Handling Speciale package that leans further into the sporty side and brings out more of that character.
The main tweak is in the suspension. Ferrari reworked the calibration of the active system to keep the body more in check. They say around 10 percent less movement, which should make the car feel tighter and more direct when you start pushing it.

The V12 itself hasn’t been touched, but the way you experience it has. Ferrari says it’s more vocal now, especially on startup and under load. They’re not saying how, but it likely means more of the real engine sound makes its way into the cabin. Either way, it should feel a bit less filtered.

The gearbox gets a sharper edge too. Software tweaks make shifts quicker and more aggressive, particularly in Race and ESC Off modes. If you’re driving it manually, it becomes more dramatic past 5,500 rpm. Basically, it rewards you for keeping the engine where it wants to be.

The numbers don’t change. It still does 0–62 mph in 3.3 seconds and tops out past 193 mph. That was never the issue. This update is more about how it feels.

Visually, Ferrari kept things restrained. New diamond-cut wheels, carbon side shields, darker exhaust tips, and subtle black badges. Inside, there’s just a small plaque to mark the upgrade. It’s the same Purosangue, just a bit sharper and a bit more alive when you drive it hard.
