Bentley Just Built a Luxury SUV Inspired by an Internet Personality

Bentley’s Mulliner division has built all kinds of bespoke cars over the years, but this latest one takes inspiration from a rather unexpected source: social media.
Called the Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition, the special model was created in collaboration with Gstaad Guy, the online personality known for poking fun at the world of private jets, ski resorts, and ultra-wealthy lifestyles. As unusual as the partnership may sound, Bentley clearly sees a good fit, given the influencer’s following among affluent buyers.

The Chalet Edition is based on the long-wheelbase Bentayga and is meant to evoke the atmosphere of an upscale Alpine retreat. It wears an exclusive Light Tudor Grey paint finish that takes more than 60 hours to apply, contrasted by Fireglow accents, Chalet Edition badges, and bespoke welcome lighting.

Inside, the four-seat cabin leans heavily into the theme. Two-tone brown leather, diamond quilting, Fireglow piping, and Liquid Amber open-pore wood create a warm, lodge-like feel. “The Chalet” script appears on the dashboard alongside a laser-etched mountain cabin, while tweed inserts, brown speaker grilles, alpine flower embroidery, and rear-seat pillows complete the look.

Under the skin, it remains a Bentayga EWB. That means a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 producing 542 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Despite its focus on comfort, the big SUV can still sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 mph. Whether buyers are drawn in by the craftsmanship or the influencer connection, there’s no denying Bentley knows exactly who this car is meant for.
